I really love the look of this shoe and was very much looking forward to receiving them BUT they run narrow in the toe and do not feel like they would be comfortable for being on your feet and walking a lot. I really really wanted to keep these based on style, but you can't really sacrifice comfort. I ordered both size 38 and 39. I always were a size 8 sneaker. My feet are slightly wider in the toe area, but my feet are not considered wide at all and the size 38 were a snug fit. I tried wearing them around the house a bit to see if they would loosen up, although I don't feel that one should have to, and they just shouldn't have such a "fitted" feel. The size 39 felt better in width but were visibly too large for my feet, provided too much room in length, with too much extra room north of the toes and in the heel as my foot was slipping. Great looking shoe but comfort is not there, which is why I believe Ecco's website and numerous other online retailers have the $190 shoe marked down to $124. I suppose if you have skinny feet they would work, but I also don't think they are comfortable as far as sole cushioning goes either. Even if they fit me properly, I couldn't see walking much in these comfortably. The Ecco Biom Hybrid Golf Shoe looks much more comfortable, although I have not tried them on. They are also quite a bit more at $190.update: I just went to a store and tried on the Ecco Biom Hybrid Golf and there is no comparison! The Biom Hybrid are very comfortable! I also tried the Nike FI Impact and they were also comfortable and both are SO much more comfortable than the Ecco Tour Hybrid. I ultimately purchased the Nike pair as they were on sale for $79.99 at the store I was in (Golf Galaxy). My advice to those shopping for golf shoes...stay away from the Ecco Tour Hybrid and try the two I just mentioned. Comfort is key! and they look good too.
